Question 1

What ages do you care for?

Accepted Answer

We provide care for children ages newborn through 6 years old. Our team is trained to handle the unique needs of each age group, from infants requiring bottle feeding and diaper changes to active toddlers and preschoolers who love crafts and games.

Question 2

Do you provide care for infants?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer specialized infant care for babies under 12 months. Infant care is available as an add-on to any package (+$150 per infant) to ensure we staff additional caregivers trained specifically in newborn and infant safety.

Question 3

Are your caregivers background checked?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Every Aisle Sitters caregiver undergoes a comprehensive background screening before they are approved to work any event. This is a foundational requirement of our hiring process — no exceptions.

Question 4

Are caregivers CPR certified?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All of our caregivers hold current CPR and First Aid certifications. We ensure every team member is prepared to respond to emergencies with confidence and professionalism.

Question 5

Are you insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Aisle Sitters carries comprehensive general liability insurance for every event we serve. This protects our families, our team, and the venues we work in.

Question 6

How many caregivers come to an event?

Accepted Answer

The number of caregivers depends on the number and ages of children. Our packages include 2–4 professionals, and we always maintain safe caregiver-to-child ratios. For events with infants or larger groups, additional caregivers are staffed accordingly.

Question 7

Do parents need to stay onsite?

Accepted Answer

A parent or authorized guardian must remain at the event venue during the entire time their child is in our care. Parents are welcome to check in at any time but are not required to stay in the childcare room.

Question 8

Do you provide toys and activities?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Every package includes age-appropriate activities, crafts, and entertainment tailored to the children in attendance. We bring all supplies — coloring materials, games, books, sensory activities, and more. No preparation needed on your part.

Question 9

Can you care for children at hotels or venues?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We set up and manage dedicated childcare spaces at hotels, event venues, conference centers, private residences, and more. We coordinate with your venue to ensure our setup meets their requirements.

Question 10

How far do you travel?

Accepted Answer

AisleSitters proudly serves weddings and private events throughout Georgia and South Carolina, with destination wedding services available upon request. Events beyond 25 miles from our base area may incur a travel fee of $100+.

Question 11

How do payments work?

Accepted Answer

After your quote is approved and service agreement is signed, a 50% deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your celebration. We accept secure online payments for your convenience.

Question 12

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

The Reservation Retainer is non-refundable and officially reserves your celebration date and childcare team. The Remaining Balance is due 30 days before your celebration. If you cancel before the Remaining Balance has been paid, only the non-refundable Reservation Retainer is forfeited. If the Remaining Balance has already been paid and the cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the celebration, the Remaining Balance will be refunded while the non-refundable Reservation Retainer is retained. Cancellations within 30 days of the celebration are non-refundable due to staffing, scheduling, and reserved availability. One complimentary reschedule may be accommodated based on Aisle Sitters' availability. Additional rescheduling requests are at Aisle Sitters' discretion.

Question 13

Do you administer medication?

Accepted Answer

No. Our caregivers do not administer any medication to children. If a child requires medication during the event, a parent or authorized guardian must administer it. Parents are always welcome to visit the childcare area at any time.

Question 14

How do you handle allergies?

Accepted Answer

Allergy and dietary information is collected through our secure post-booking intake process. Our team reviews all allergy details before the event and takes appropriate precautions to ensure the safety of every child in our care.

Question 15

How do parents check children in and out?

Accepted Answer

We use a structured check-in/check-out process. Parents register each child upon arrival and provide identification during pickup. Only individuals listed on the authorized pickup form may collect a child. Photo ID is required.
